Panetta Snags Ward 3 Democrats Endorsement
I was formally endorsed by the Ward 3 Democrats for re-election to “Shadow” U.S. Representative position on June 17th at the organization’s monthly meeting. The threshold for endorsement was 75% of the votes cast, which I was able to meet. This endorsement comes less than a week after I prevailed in the the city-wide Democratic Party straw poll.
I sent the following message to the Ward 3 Democratic leadership this morning:

I was honored to receive the endorsement of the Ward 3 Democrats last night, and I thank you all for your continued support. I enjoyed the comments and conversations I shared with many of you last night, and I’m always looking to hear from others about ways we can achieve full voting representation in Congress and statehood for the District.
