Panetta Wins DC Democratic Straw Poll

The DC Democratic State Committee held a “straw poll’ on June 12th that was open to all DC Democrats during their state convention. Mike Panetta won the “Shadow” U.S. House poll with 40% of the votes in a 6-way race.
“Thanks to all the Democrats who came out on a hot, sweaty Saturday to support my efforts.

I truly appreciate the vote of confidence in what I’m doing for congressional representation and statehood,” said Panetta.
