Panetta Snags Ward 3 Democrats Endorsement
Friday, June 18th, 2010I was formally endorsed by the Ward 3 Democrats for re-election to “Shadow” U.S. Representative position on June 17th at the organization’s monthly meeting. The threshold for endorsement was 75% of the votes cast, which I was able to meet. This endorsement comes less than a week after I prevailed in the the city-wide Democratic Party straw poll.

On the Passing of Former U.S. “Shadow” Representative Ray Browne
Tuesday, February 16th, 2010Raymond Browne, who served as the District of Columbia’s U.S. Shadow Representative from 2001-2007, passed away this weekend at the age of 71. My heartfelt condolences go out to his wife, Barbara, and the rest of the Browne family.
